Yang-Yu Liu

Hello there! 🙋‍♂️

I am a third-year master’s student at South China University of Technology, School of Emergent Soft Matter.

My research interests lie in polymer science 🧪 and molecular dynamics simulation 🖥️ — a powerful framework for deepening our understanding of the fundamental principles of polymer physics.

🛠️ I was first introduced to molecular dynamics simulations during my sophomore year, and through my studies in polymer science, I developed a deep interest in computational modeling of soft matter. This curiosity led me to gain hands-on experience with the Linux operating system, the LAMMPS simulation package, and related computational tools.

📊 During my undergraduate years, I actively participated in multiple mathematical modeling competitions, which strengthened my skills in MATLAB, scientific visualization, and machine learning.

🚀 My journey into programing began in high school, when I participated in the National Olympiad in Informatics. It was then that I began learning C++, kindling my passion for exploring both computer software and hardware.
